SPECIAL PROGRAMS DIVISION
COMMUNITY SOCIAL PROGRAMS (CSP)
In an effort to enrich the quality of life in Orange County,
the Board of Supervisors designates an approved amount of funding each year to community
social programs. Grants are made available to local non-profits organizations directly
serving the community. The grants are egalitarian in nature.
Grants are typically awarded to organizations that focus on:
1. Arts, science, and sports programs for young people
2. Counseling for at-risk youth
3. Assistance for frail senior citizens
4. Community building programs.
