WELFARE to WORK
PROGRAM
OBJECTIVE:
The Workforce Investment Board Welfare-toWork program was developed to
supplement training and services for:
1. The hardest to serve welfare recipients
2. Non-custodial parents with children receiving TANF
3. Young adults who have been part of the foster system.
The Orange County One-Stop Centers offer services to eligible individuals whom are
referred or identified through outreach efforts.
Services include employment assistance, skills training, support services mentoring, supportive services, and case management. Programs are designed to provide long term support that results in self-sufficiency.
